Black Swamp Preserve

Free and open to all daily from 8:00 am until 30 minutes past sunset. Created in partnership with BG City Parks, this preserve is wheelchair and bicycle accessible and has paved access to the Slippery Elm Trail, the 13-mile bike path from Bowling Green to North Baltimore. Indoor restrooms are conveniently located near the parking lot. The park features pollinator gardens, grass trails, and bluebird nesting boxes. A second point to the Slippery Elm Trail is located off of Kenwood Ave.
