Turkey Drop Fundraiser

DON’T MISS THIS FUN OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT THE WOOD COUNTY MUSEUM!

Come watch the Turkey Drone Drop and grab some lunch. Turkey dogs will be available for a donation.

Here’s how it works:

Purchase a numbered foam turkey for $50 each. Only 300 foam turkeys will be sold. After purchasing your foam turkey online, you will receive your number by email.

Foam turkeys can be purchased online, at the museum, or at the event on the day of the drop, while supplies last. Sales will end at 12:00 PM on November 5, 2026, or when all 300 turkeys are sold.

Toledo Aerial Media (TAM) will use a drone to drop the numbered foam turkeys onto the parking lot. The three foam turkeys closest to each of the two targets will win cash prizes:

1st Closest to Target: $1,000
2nd Closest to Target: $750
3rd Closest to Target: $500

There will also be various other prizes available.

The drop will take place at approximately 12:30 PM. You do not have to be present to win.

Turkey Drone Drop performed by Toledo Aerial Media.

In the case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for November 13, 2026.

Proceeds benefit the Wood County Historical Society and help support educational programs, future exhibits, and collections management.
