Opened in 2011, the Stroh Center is Bowling Green State University’s premier venue for concerts, commencement, lectures, and community events. It’s also home to Falcon men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball.
The 133,000-square-foot, LEED Gold–certified facility seats up to 5,000 guests and features locker rooms, team offices, the BGSU Athletics Hall of Fame, Falcon Team Store, Anderson Club, and a modern sports medicine area. Designed by Rossetti Architects, the center offers 1,200+ parking spaces and full catering and concession services.
Named for major donors Kermit F. and Mary Lu Stroh, the $30 million arena also honors other contributors with areas such as Bill Frack Court and the Schmidthorst Pavilion. Outside, the 23-foot bronze Fighting Falcon statue—the world’s largest falcon sculpture—welcomes visitors in the Falcon Spirit Plaza.
