FRIENDS OF BG DOG PARKS is recalling the 1920s with a  Speakeasy theme for its “Paws And Pearls“ fundraiser on Saturday, May 9. The group will be putting on the Ritz from 7 PM to 10 PM at the historic Lincoln House, a swanky joint in downtown Bowling Green.  Guests will sip cocktails or mocktails and sample a variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres.  The silent auction featuring rounds of golf at the BG Country Club is sure to be the bees knees. While pearls and fedoras aren’t required, live wires are encouraged to show up in their glad rags. Some hepcats known as the Kase Quartet will jazz up the night with musical entertainment.
