America 250 Block Party at Courhouse Square

Wood County will host an America 250 Block Party at Courthouse Square, celebrating the nationwide 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

This community event features guided tours of the historic Wood County Courthouse, though reservations are required. Visitors can enjoy live music from local veterans, a variety of food trucks along Court Street, engaging kids' games, and special treats served directly by Wood County elected officials.

The celebration concludes with a patriotic concert by the Bowling Green Area Community Bands on the courthouse lawn. Residents are encouraged to attend and bring a lawn chair. Additional details will be announced soon.
