The 2026–2027 Official Bowling Green Magazine was officially released by Visit BG, Ohio on April 30 during a launch event at Beckett’s Barrel Room, celebrating the completion of a truly community-driven project. Published every two years, the magazine showcases the very best of Bowling Green, highlighting our parks, restaurants, public art, local leaders, businesses, and attractions.
This edition was made possible through the collaboration of countless community members. We want to thank the families and individuals who appeared on the cover and throughout the magazine, as well as the talented local writers, photographers, and creative contributors who helped bring these stories to life, alongside the outstanding team at Great Lakes Publishing.
During the launch event, Visit BG, Ohio Director Mary Hinkelman, Marketing and Engagement Lead Zane Kirchner, and Great Lakes Publishing Account Manager Sara Jamieson spoke about the work, collaboration, and coordination that went into producing the magazine. Contributors and attendees were also invited to share their experiences and discuss their appearances in the publication.
Downtown Bowling Green S.I.D. Director Hailee Williams remarked, “We are not a stock photo community.” That sentiment is reflected on every page. The magazine is filled with authentic stories, vibrant photography, and the creativity, pride, and personality that make Bowling Green such a special place.
Copies of the magazine are now available at hotels throughout Bowling Green, along I-75 rest stops, and at select BGSU businesses and student orientation events. Individuals and organizations can also request a free digital or physical copy through the Visit BG, Ohio website here.
Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have called Bowling Green home for years, this magazine offers a fresh look at the people, places, and experiences that make our community shine.
